This started with my family business, in the middle of a turnaround. No army of finance specialists. A handful of simple tools. One question I could not put down: how do you run finance lean, fast, and accurate, when you do not have an enterprise team behind you?

That question became Cortena. We began where most people begin, with insight. Forecasting, FP&A, the view from above. It is a real problem, and it matters. But our first product taught us something we did not expect. The real problem starts earlier. It is the admin work underneath, the quiet, manual grind that eats a team's time and a company's money. If the foundation is not right, there is nothing for AI to stand on.

So we went to the foundation. That is our mission, and it is a simple one.
